GP CAR KEY BATTERY REWARD AND WARRANTY PROGRAM

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

Definitions:

(“Program”) – GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program

(“GP Battery”) – by GP Battery Marketing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 417236-W), owner, operator, of the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program

(“The Channel”) – the business owners/operators selling and giving product and services that are directly and indirectly relating to car and locking systems and/or devices such as but not limiting to Lock and Key, Car Accessories Supplies, Car Servicing

(“The Portal”) – the online domain designed to facilitate the Program in which business owners are recruited to participate for the reward and warranty supports mechanism will take place

(“Log-in User”), – the registered and logged-in retailer (identified and referred to as Channel Service Provider) that you obtain when you join the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program

(“End-Consumer”), – the purchaser of product (referred to as GP Lithium Coin Battery) or service (referred to as battery replacement service on locking devices)

(“Standard Points”) – loyalty and/or reward points that you earn under the GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program

(“Warranty”) – registered End-Consumer by the Log-in User

(“Reward”) – redeemable items by way of product/voucher/cash/any applicable form, put up in assortments in which each item is qualified by number of points to redeem

 

THE REGISTRATION

1. The ‘GP Car Key Battery Reward and Warranty Program’ (“Program”) will commence from 12:00AM on 15th July 2024
2. This Program is solely owned and organised by GP Battery Marketing Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (Company Registration No. 417236-W) (“GP Battery”). The Program is open to all business owners/operators (“The Channel”) in Malaysia with registered business license in Malaysia. (“Eligible Participants”).
3. GP Battery reserve the right to disqualify any person that it knows is, or has reasonable grounds to believe is, ineligible for this Program as a result of the terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) herein.

5. To participate in this Program, Eligible Participants must fulfill the following requirements (collectively, referred to as the “Pre-requisites”):

(a) The Eligible Participant are and has registered business license in and within Malaysia. Uploading picture(s) of the operating premise with clear view of the shop/operator name is required during 1^st Log-in registration

(b) All other required contactable details must be accurately provided to ensure onward communication, program updates, processing and fulfilment of rewards are successfully directed and received by the Log-in User

6. Upon successful Log-in Registration (“Log-in User), Eligible Participant will be given a unique Log-in User ID and Password (“The User Account”). The Log-in User will use this to log-in to register purchases of their End-Consumer to earn points (“Standard Points”).

THE REWARD

1. Under the Program, Log-in User will earn five (5) Standard Points immediately upon and limited to the 1^st successful log-in registration.
2. Subsequently, for every one (1) End-Consumer registered into the Warranty Page will earn one (1) Standard Point.
3. The Standard Points earned carries no expiry date unless otherwise published and announced in official GP communication platforms and in official mail.
4. The Log-in User will decide on best use of their accumulated Standard Points. Standard Points can be indefinitely accumulated for redemption of multiple items and/or multiple quantities. The Log-in User can redeem direct from <link> in The Portal at any point of time. Balance points from any redemption will remain in The User Account and continue accumulating.
5. GP Battery will decide on the assortment of items for redemption. Items including points tagged to each item can/will be reviewed from time to time which will be at the discretionary of GP Battery.
6. GP Battery may from time to time make announcement on add-on activities that may Fast-track or boost Standard Points accumulations
7. In event that there is a call for discontinuation to the program, any non-redeemable points will be reimbursed by product in kind at the value of 1 point = RM 1 at GP Battery Recommended Selling Price as published in GP Battery official price list.

THE WARRANTY

1. The Log-in User will sell/provide battery replacement service using only GP branded Lithium Coin battery and register End-Consumer into <link> in The Portal in which upon registering the End-Consumer will be entitled to 6 months (180 days) warranty (“Warranty”) of the purchase of the battery placed into End-consumer’s Car Remote Key device(s)
2. The Warranty will only cover failure to operate or sudden loss of power to operate of the Car Remote Key device(s) namely functionality of the buttons on the Car Remote Key device(s) within normal distances within the covered period in which End Consumer will be entitled to a FREE battery replacement
3. The Warranty applies only to sale/battery replacement services provided by using GP branded Lithium Coin battery. Uploading picture of device serviced with clear view of GP battery in device and/or copy of receipt with clear view GP battery as item of sale as stated in the Registration Form is required
4. The Warranty DO NOT cover any physical damages, deforms and/or technical matters resulting in malfunctioning of the Car Remote Key device(s) which may be caused by physical handling, ageing and/or not limiting to environmental impacts that may contribute to and/or result into malfunctioning of the Car Remote Key device(s)
5. Each Warranty is registered through the Log-In user who sold the battery and/or including the battery replacement services and have registered the sale/service into the Program under the Log-in User’s Account and can only be claimed from the same Log-in User

CLAIMING OF WARRANTY ON THE SOLD/REPLACEMENT SERVICE GIVEN ON THE BATTERY (“Defect”)

1. The End-Consumer MUST return to the same seller to make any Warranty claims
2. Warranty claims MUST be registered and traceable in the Warranty Registration & Claim form <link>. Failure to register and be traceable will result in failure to claim and receive reimbursement from GP Battery

(a) The Log-in User will collect and keep the Defect together with a print copy on warranty claimed summary from his Log-in User Account on monthly or quarterly or intervals subject to servicing call cycle of the suppling seller/distributor (“Seller”).

(b) The Seller will replace/reimburse the quantity in method agreeable between the Seller and the Log-in User.

(c) The Seller will consolidate and submit all Defects together with the print copies from all Log-in Users to GP Battery for replacement in kind

 

Rights of GP Battery

1. All of GP Battery’s decision on all matters including but not limited to the eligibility of the participants, mechanics and/or rewards for this Program or in the event of any dispute shall be final and binding and no correspondence or appeals shall be entertained.
2. GP Battery reserve the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Program with or without any prior notice. For the avoidance of doubt, cancellation, termination or suspension by GP Battery of this Program shall not entitle any party to any claim or compensation against GP Battery for any and all losses or damage suffered or incurred by any party as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension.
3. In no event will GP Battery be liable for any loss or damages including without limitations, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive and/or special damages of any party including third parties howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Program, even if GP Battery have been advised of the possibility of such damages in advance, and all such damages are expressly excluded.

General terms

1. GP Battery reserve the right at its absolute discretion to jointly amend, delete, or add to any of these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
2. These Terms and Conditions, as the same may be amended from time to time, shall prevail over any provisions or representations contained in any other promotional materials or advertisements in relation to this Program.
3. In the event where there is any inconsistency(ies), conflict(s), ambiguity(ies) or discrepancy(ies) between English and Bahasa Malaysia versions of these Terms and Conditions, the English version of these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
